Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Operations Manager to join our team at Prometheus Real Estate Group. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical operations of our Neighborhoods, ensuring that they are well-maintained and meet our high standards.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a salaried position with an estimated hourly rate between $30.50 and $33.25 per hour. We also offer a discretionary semi-annual bonus plan, standby pay, and on-call premium pay. Additionally, you may be eligible for other bonuses and incentives, such as referral bonuses, training coach bonuses, renovation bonuses, lease-up bonuses, leasing and occupancy contests, and more.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for budget management through cost-effective maintenance functions, ongoing safety training, capital projects, managing vendors and contractors, and maintaining inventory. You will also establish positive, productive relationships with our staff and look out for the best interest of the Neighborhood. This requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of company policies, and the ability to uphold standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years' experience in apartment maintenance and two years' supervisory experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills, including presenting information to groups and responding to questions from managers, clients, neighbors, and the general public.
  • Availability to work outside regular hours and be on-call to help your team and the Neighborhood.
  • A High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with a minimum of three certificates from related institutions reflecting completion of maintenance-related courses, such as BOMA, IREM, and/or vocational programs.
  • A working knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws and the ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform tasks that require standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
