Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Affinity Executive Search. Our client is a global leader in quality excellence, and we are looking for a professional who can help us continue our pursuit of perfection.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design and maintenance of our Quality and Engineering systems, ensuring they comply with best practices and hygienic standards. This includes identifying appropriate measures of system effectiveness and implementing and monitoring them.

The Quality Supply Chain Manager will also be responsible for managing the design, creation, publication, and maintenance of procedures, processes, and programs that drive Quality and Engineering systems. This includes ensuring Quality is incorporated into the foundations of everything we do and through the life cycle of the products we create.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience in a cGMP environment. They will also have experience with manufacturing of aseptic products and thermal processing, as well as knowledge of system design and experience working with implementing robust sustainable programs.

The Quality Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the overarching quality system, including the development, deployment, and maintenance of Internal Prerequisite Programs and associated SSOPs
  • Developing and implementing Engineering systems to manage buildings and equipment, through their life cycle, including adoption of new technologies, testing and validation of equipment, and obsolescence
  • Participating in and providing input to design of products and processes
  • Driving Quality in Execution
  • Enhancing accessibility and utilization of the Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS) which documents the quality requirements for each product manufactured and ensure alignment to the MSPEC
  • Acting as the customer-facing HCQM contact, ensuring that customer requirements are translated into the quality system, communicated within the organization as required, and customer needs are met
  • Preparing for and representing the organization as the primary contact for all customer audits
  • Responsible for KPI development and reporting for the QA Department and manages shelf-life monitoring and extensions for both raw materials and finished products
  • Responsible for document control, Pest Control, Management of Change, KPI reporting, shelf-life monitoring and extensions
