Advertising Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team as an Advertising Account Executive. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a client base of advertisers who purchase advertising on radio, television, cable, and internet.
This sales position requires strong relationship and communication skills, as well as the ability to prospect, monitor competitive media, set face-to-face appointments, develop new accounts, and service existing advertising accounts.
As the point person for our clients, you will conduct needs analysis, consult with management, develop proposals, present, and close deals. You will also work closely with our clients to understand their marketing goals and develop solutions to meet their needs.
We are looking for a sales professional who can sell ideas and solutions, and who is comfortable working with business and/or advertising decision makers. Experience with advertising agencies is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and preparing presentations to showcase our advertising solutions
- Meeting with clients to understand their marketing goals and develop solutions
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure long-term success
- Monitoring competitive media and staying up-to-date on industry trends
- Collaborating with our sales team to achieve sales goals
Requirements:
- College degree or comparable experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in sales software
