As the Content Marketing Strategist at Pharos, you will be instrumental in enhancing our brand visibility and engagement through strategic content development and optimization. You will work collaboratively with various teams to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience across multiple channels.

Remote Work Flexibility

This position offers remote work opportunities, with a preference for candidates located on the West Coast to align with team time zones. Candidates in the Rochester area may choose to work from our office.

Compensation

Salary: $78,000 - $84,000 annually, with the potential for an annual bonus of up to 5%.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement content strategies that align with marketing goals, collaborating closely with product marketing and demand generation teams.
  • Produce engaging written materials including blogs, social media updates, eBooks, press releases, and marketing collateral that embody our brand voice and style.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on industry-related topics and partner with subject matter experts as necessary.
  • Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and high quality.
  • Work alongside graphic designers, video producers, and other content creators to ensure a unified content presentation.
  • Keep the website updated with the latest product information, news, and company details while supporting demand generation initiatives.
  • Regularly optimize website content to improve SEO, user engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement organic social media strategies to grow followers and drive traffic to our website.
  • Monitor and analyze website and social media performance, assessing content effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Content Manager, Copywriter, or in a similar role within a marketing or digital agency setting.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio showcasing published articles or content samples.
  • Familiarity with SEO practices and web traffic analytics.
  • Proficient in WordPress and various social media platforms.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic approach and the ability to drive content innovation.
