Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Southland Industries. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our project managers and teams to ensure the successful coordination of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project managers in coordinating projects, including developing project schedules, tracking progress, and identifying potential issues.
  • Support field labor, including labor feedback, equipment procurement, and document control.
  • Coordinate with design, trade, and subcontractor teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Assist in budget analysis, cost and margin projections, and estimate project changes and impacts.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and other relevant materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a mechanical contractor or design engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
