Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Rosendin Electric. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our project management team and ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Documentation: Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Project Activities: Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning, coordinating, and resolving problem areas.
  • Change Orders and Submittals: Maintain change orders, submittal, and document control logs, and prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
  • Contract Administration: Responsible for contract submittals that are accurate and timely, and for creating and issuing subcontractors' contracts.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the project quality control plan is followed, and interact with subcontractors to ensure the correct documentation and drawings are obtained for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Warranty Log: Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date.
  • Meetings and Communication: Attend company/project meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc., and provide project management support, and cooperate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor other contractors' activities and progress, and prepare price change orders and project reports and documentation.
  • Payroll and Administration: Work with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction-related role, or a combination of training, education, and relevant work experience that is equivalent.
  • Skills: Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods required; strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills; strong attention to details; demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills; identify and meet customers' expectations and requirements; proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player; interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
