Join Our Team as a Financial Analyst II

First Western Trust is on the lookout for a dedicated Financial Analyst II to enhance our dynamic team.

About the Role:
As a Financial Analyst II, you will be instrumental in assisting affluent clients in reaching their financial aspirations. Your collaboration with our Finance department will be crucial in delivering all-encompassing solutions that surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, analyze, and present financial performance metrics to management, including monthly and year-to-date financial reports with detailed analysis.
- Evaluate key performance indicators to uncover underlying business challenges and contribute to operational and strategic decision-making.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly forecasts, assess against analyst projections, and support strategic planning and goal attainment.
- Facilitate the annual business planning process.
- Report on weekly loan and deposit growth, summarizing significant variances by client.
- Update the FTP model monthly and resolve any discrepancies.
- Identify and monitor key clients, conduct client profitability analysis, and perform benchmarking.
- Support the company's internal and external reporting obligations (management, Board of Directors, SEC, regulatory).

Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
- Familiarity with the banking sector and macroeconomic trends.

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.

Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis is required.
