As a key member of our law enforcement agency, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex investigations, gathering evidence, and analyzing data to support the prosecution of crimes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and meticulous investigations of crimes, including gathering and analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing case files.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to identify and apprehend suspects, and to recover stolen property.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations, including case files, evidence, and witness statements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest investigative techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Must be a constituted law enforcement officer subject to being on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Must be able to bear firearms and maintain certification as a law enforcement officer.
Working Conditions:
The incumbent will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to stressful and traumatic situations. The incumbent must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion at all times.
