Job Title: Police Cadet

Job Summary:

The City of Lauderhill, FL is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Cadet. As a Police Cadet, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks and duties related to law enforcement, including attending the Police Academy and completing the required training program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend the Police Academy and complete the required training program
  • Assist with various tasks and duties related to law enforcement
  • Develop skills and knowledge in law enforcement procedures and protocols
  • Work closely with experienced law enforcement officers to gain hands-on experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 19 years old
  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Must possess a valid State of Florida driver's license
  • Must pass a background investigation and physical fitness test

Working Conditions:

The Police Cadet will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The Police Cadet will also be required to wear a uniform and equipment as necessary.
