We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Happy State Bank. As a key member of our Branch Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and promoting bank products and services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide quality customer service to customers and colleagues
- Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Sell bank products and services to customers
- Monitor cash and detect counterfeit money
- Verify customer identity and endorsements
- Balance cash drawers and vaults
- Perform depository account maintenance and enter new accounts into the system
- Assist branch manager and perform other work-related duties as assigned
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Teller preferred
- Complete New Account Consumer and New Account Business training
- Ability to type 60 wpm and operate 10-key
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office software
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer relation skills
- Attention to detail and mental concentration for accurately performing tasks
- Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- 1-2 years: Teller experience
