Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Customer Account Manager. This role will be responsible for maintaining safe working conditions, verifying customer pricing and terms of sale, and communicating with sales and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a zero (0) lost time injury record within the area of responsibility.
  • Verify customer pricing and terms of sale, and maintain customer quotations, summary billing setup, and rebates in the ERP system.
  • Communicate with sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate customer order information is input into the CRM system.
  • Complete and obtain sales approval for product quality deviations, as necessary.
  • Coordinate with plant shipping departments and warehouses to provide order information and set delivery dates on a timely basis.
  • Prepare import and export documentation, as required.
  • Follow up with transportation suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse suppliers to ensure orders are shipped as scheduled.
  • Process returns, credits, and debits in the ERP system, in accordance with procedures.
  • Perform monthly consumption billing functions for consignment accounts, as applicable.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, export transportation, or international business.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer software proficiency with automated sales systems, and the ability to learn quickly.
