Purpose and Responsibilities

This role is designed to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to succeed in management or supervisory positions. You'll shadow experienced employees, rotate through various departments, and participate in training programs to develop your industry knowledge and functional processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shadow assigned employees and management to learn company processes and procedures.
  • Participate in training programs and perform duties in operational areas such as yard operations, millwork, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, safety, sales, finance, and human resources.
  • May contribute to the development of operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendations.
  • Participate in and complete assigned training programs.
Requirements and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Previous selling experience is a plus.
  • Good mathematical aptitude and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and ERP applications.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires:

  • Work performed on company and customer sites, involving driving to customer locations.
  • Subject to typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
