Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in the success of our retail store by assisting the General Manager in managing store operations, merchandising, and customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing store operations, including inventory management, customer service, and sales.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and employee performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager, sales team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a big-box or high-volume environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing store operations, sales, and customer service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in PC-based software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data management systems.
