Job Summary

The Associate Director of Alumni Relations will manage and grow the alumni engagement and development pipeline for STHM through various channels, including the Associate Dean and Dean's offices, school departments, centers, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate and facilitate Board of Visitors interactions
  • Manage and oversee the Alumni Association
  • Execute strategic plan initiatives
  • Develop and implement signature and one-off alumni and donor engagements
  • Provide content and support for alumni communications
  • Collaborate with annual giving staff to create a comprehensive alumni experience
  • Manage onboarding and development of elected alumni volunteers
  • Work with departments to recruit new volunteers and corporate partners
  • Represent STHM to the Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in alumni relations, community engagement, project management, and/or special events
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and donor databases
  • Knowledge of best practices in alumni relations and community engagement
