We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient records, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and check-in patients, collect and update patient information, and schedule appointments
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and verify insurance coverage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and assist with medical administrative tasks
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure smooth operations
- Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling, data entry, and record keeping
