Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to lead our team and drive guest satisfaction. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and coaching our team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coach and Develop Team Members: Provide guidance and support to team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Drive Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that every guest has a positive experience, from greeting them at the door to serving them their meal.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure that the restaurant is clean, safe, and well-maintained, meeting or exceeding company standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Effectively manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and ensure that the restaurant is always stocked with the necessary items.
  • Monitor and Control Labor Costs: Manage labor costs to ensure that they are in line with company standards and goals.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and management to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned.
Requirements
  • Previous Management or Leadership Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer-facing role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
  • Ability to Meet Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 55 pounds, and bending, twisting, and reaching.
