- Thought Leadership: Author thought papers on the use of AI/ML in the healthcare space, present to company leadership as well as the engineering and product organizations, and drive the technical vision in the AI/ML engineering space.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Experience: 12+ years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience, with 4+ years of experience working on AI and ML related projects.
- Skills: Extensive experience in designing and working in distributed systems-based architecture, developing APIs, and implementing scalable backend systems.
- Leadership: Extensive experience in mentoring and leading junior team members, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and contributing to project planning and decision-making.
- Advanced Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Expertise: Expertise with the AI/ML ecosystems at the PhD level and equally with Product managers and executive leadership teams to ensure iterative progress in a fast-paced environment.
- Healthcare Experience: Experience working with Healthcare/Personally Identifiable (PII) Data, and building healthcare compliant (HIPAA) data lakes.
- Distributed Architecture: Strong expertise with distributed Architecture, with deep exposure to API design & versioning, domain-driven design, event-driven systems, and microservices that serve both web and mobile frontends.
- High Availability Systems: Experience with high Availability Systems, with strong point of view about telemetry, self-healing systems, buffers and queues, idempotency, disposability, and multi-tenancy.
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $248,000 - $372,000.
