POSITION OVERVIEW

ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Part-Time Cash Register Associate. This position involves selling food and beverage items at concession stands, managing waste, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere to all ASM Global policies and operational procedures.
  • Assist in preparing the concession area before events, including food preparation tasks.
  • Verify the initial cash bank with the money manager and handle transactions according to established cash handling protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of voids and over-rings.
  • Process customer orders, verify identification for alcohol sales, and enforce relevant policies.
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory count.
  • Complete revenue reconciliation after each event.
  • Participate in post-event cleanup and organization of stock.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of Safe Staff training within 90 days of hire.
  • Prior experience as a cashier with strong mathematical skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Ability to work in loud environments typical of concerts and events.
  • Willingness to work at both indoor and outdoor venues.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
