Position Summary

We are in search of a driven, proactive, and enthusiastic team player to fill the role of Wealth Planner within our Wealth Planning Department. The Wealth Planner will be responsible for crafting detailed financial plans and collaborating with client-facing advisors to provide technical wealth planning guidance and resources across various domains, including retirement, education, insurance, estate, business succession, and comprehensive financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with advisors to collect data necessary for initial planning or plan reviews.
  • Utilize comprehensive financial planning software to input client information, generate analytical reports, and recommend suitable planning strategies to enhance client experiences.
  • Act as a reliable resource for client-facing advisors, addressing technical planning inquiries.
  • Develop expertise in a specific technical area as agreed upon with management, contributing to firm-wide strategies and improving client deliverables.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Financial Planning or Finance.
  • CFP certification or advanced credentials in a related field (e.g., JD, CPA).
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning.
  • Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of comprehensive financial planning, including cash management, tax planning, insurance, education, retirement, estate planning, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with eMoney software is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of business succession, estate planning, philanthropy, insurance, education, and financial planning, including relevant legal, tax, and regulatory considerations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Adaptable and collaborative with a strong client service orientation.
