Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to students, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage food inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of meal counts, attendance, and inventory, as well as submit reports to the main office.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the teaching team to ensure program compliance and meet individual children's needs.
  • Health and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to center policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions

The Food Service Coordinator will work in a busy and occasionally noisy environment, typical of a school setting. The position requires regular standing, sitting, and walking, as well as the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
