Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items according to company policies and procedures, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Cook and prepare menu items according to guest requests, following company standards and food safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Stock and rotate products on cooking lines, ensuring adequate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain all kitchen line equipment, preparation areas, and storage spaces.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food temperatures during hot and cold handling to prevent foodborne illness.
Requirements
  • Basic Skills: Sanitation, safety, and customer service training provided through in-house programs.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with team members and management.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: High level of mobility, flexibility, and coordination required.
