We are seeking a Leisure Activity Specialist to join our team at Volunteers of America-Greater New York. As a Leisure Activity Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing leisure activities and programs for clients in our transitional family shelter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement leisure activities and programs
  • Develop contacts with various sources for off-site activities
  • Assist in preparing and submitting written and statistical reports

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or 60 college credits in Human Services, High School Diploma or GED, and at least one year of relevant shelter experience. Spanish communication skills are also required.
