Job Summary

Pacific Clinics is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee critical budget, analysis, and reporting responsibilities. This role will partner with Regional Executive Directors to align financial strategies with Program objectives and ensure compliance with contract fiscal requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills. They will also possess excellent analytical thinking, business acumen, and project management skills.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. The Finance Manager will lead and develop a team of analysts in the designated area of responsibility to deliver high-quality financial support, problem solve, and create value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of the budget and financial management and analyses of projects.
  • Support and participate in the overall planning, coordination, and administration for budget management process.
  • Partner with operations teams to enhance reporting, manage expenses, provide insights, and develop and deliver key business metrics.
  • Provide strategic guidance, business insights, and recommendations to Regional Executive Directors to control costs, optimize program value, and drive efficiency.
  • Develop, revise, and implement budget administration processes and procedures.
  • Manage the preparation and provision of financial, revenue, expenditure, fund status, and variance reports to management to enable financial and budgetary monitoring, control, and positive cash flow.
  • Identify and advise management on budget concerns such as budget overruns, revenue shortfalls, and other financial issues.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from management and other departments regarding budget/financial issues and special reports and analysis.
  • Recommend options and solutions and work with management to resolve problems.
  • Support management information and reporting requirements via the maintenance of current reports, design of new reports, and writing of ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Develop FP&A processes and build financial models for forecasting, financial planning, investment analysis, risk mitigation, and project evaluation.
  • Develop and support improvements in the design and implementation of financial tracking, analyses, forecasting, and reporting systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Two to Three (2-3) years of progressively responsible experience in all areas of financial planning and analysis required.
  • Zero to Two (0-2) years of experience managing staff and peers required.
