Job Summary:

The Assets Controller will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining robust internal controls. This role is essential for supporting the company's rapid unit growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of periodic, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management and ownership.
• Develop and implement cost accounting practices specific to food manufacturing and multi-unit operations, including analysis of production costs, inventory management, and margin optimization.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to maintain adequate liquidity and optimize working capital, with a focus on inventory and supply chain efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in the restaurant, multi-unit retail, or food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing a multi-entity structure is preferred.
• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems; strong Microsoft Excel skills.
