We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Engagement Coordinator. This role will provide support to the Marketing and Communications Coordinator in the development and implementation of marketing materials and promotional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of social media campaigns and monitoring for engagement and success.
- Engage with followers and other SHSU social media accounts.
- Write and edit communication plans.
- Create print collateral and graphics using software such as Adobe Creative Cloud products.
- Plan and coordinate events.
- Provide general administrative and communications support as assigned.
- Must be a SHSU student with a SHSU Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher.
- Must maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA and show satisfactory academic progress.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail are required.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with social media are necessary.
This is a student employment position and does not include any supervisory responsibilities.
