Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse in Quality Control is responsible for reviewing specific clinical records and overseeing quality improvement initiatives within Health Services. Key duties include:
- Assisting with inquiries from external agencies during audits.
- Developing processes to ensure quality patient services and adherence to professional standards.
- Engaging in problem identification and data collection.
- Analyzing data results and implementing necessary changes.
- Utilizing client audit tools to monitor clinical compliance and assist in corrective action planning.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and understanding work processes.
- Monitoring long-term hospital admissions and communicating clinical concerns.
- Supporting the Health Service Administrator with clinical data.
- Documenting and reporting improvement activities within the organization.


Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program and a current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- A minimum of two years of direct nursing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control standards.
- Competence in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, and nursing care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and utilize necessary software.
