Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse in Quality Control is responsible for conducting thorough reviews of clinical records related to various health services, including Chronic Illness Clinics and medication administration. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with inquiries from external agencies during audits.
- Developing and implementing processes to ensure high-quality patient services and adherence to professional standards.
- Engaging in problem identification and data collection through audits.
- Analyzing data results and implementing necessary changes while monitoring outcomes.
- Utilizing client audit tools to ensure compliance with clinical standards and developing corrective action plans for areas needing improvement.
- Identifying opportunities for enhancement and understanding work processes to address root causes of variations.
- Facilitating improvements in non-compliance areas and integrating standards into operational systems.
- Monitoring long-term inpatient admissions and communicating clinical concerns as necessary.
- Supporting the Health Service Administrator by providing relevant clinical data.
- Documenting and reporting improvement activities within the organization.

Qualifications:
We seek individuals with excellent diagnostic skills, patience, and empathy. If you meet the following criteria, we encourage you to consider this opportunity:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
- A minimum of two years of direct nursing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control standards.
- Competence in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, and both medical and psychiatric nursing care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to work independently while performing nursing assessments and providing appropriate treatment according to established protocols.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
