Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler 1 to join our team at Otis Elevator CO. As an Assembler 1, you will be responsible for assembling pre- and sub-assembly components, performing ground bond testing, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components according to work instructions and/or On Floor Sheets (OFS).
  • Utilize PIV equipment for crating and packing requirements.
  • Perform basic assembly rework on various assemblies when a defect is identified.
  • Participate in daily toolbox meetings and ensure shop floor management elements such as Tier 1, QCPC, 5S, and Material Review Board (MRB).
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum Experience: 0-1 year in production assembly.
  • Preferred Experience: +1 year in manufacturing environment.
