Licensed Practical Nurse

You will:
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
- Administer immunizations and injections, including COVID, influenza, and TB, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Assess patients during intake.
- Take vital signs.
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
- Perform Point of Care testing, including COVID testing.
- Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience.
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities.
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.
- Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
The LPN/LVN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
