Position Summary:
This is a full-time contingent role, commencing at 30 hours weekly with potential for up to 40 hours. The position may necessitate flexibility to assist at other nearby facilities and involve alternating weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer immunizations and injections, including but not limited to influenza, COVID-19, and TB tests.
  • Measure and record vital signs.
  • Provide immediate care in collaboration with the onsite healthcare provider during emergencies.
  • Facilitate patient registration, intake, and discharge processes.
  • Support waiting room management and perform additional tasks such as patient reminders, outreach calls, appointment scheduling, and serving as a chaperone for sensitive examinations to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Prepare the clinic and waiting area to ensure an optimal patient experience.
  • Contribute to our mission of guiding individuals towards improved health through exceptional patient-focused interactions and initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in administering immunizations and injections, along with providing evidence-based counseling and education regarding vaccines.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency in documenting within an Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Capability to take vital signs accurately.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Ability to pass a FIT test and utilize the provided respirator mask when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings. Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Record is advantageous.

Licensure/Certifications:
  • The LPN/LVN must possess a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in the relevant state.

Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Practical or Vocational Nursing recognized by the State Agency and/or the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)).
