Job Title: Lean Process Engineer

Washington Metal Fabricators is seeking a highly skilled Lean Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for implementing and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean practices and reduce lead times.
  • Design and optimize manufacturing layouts to improve workflow and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate personnel on lean manufacturing concepts and techniques.
  • Conduct time studies and implement improvements to reduce cycle times and increase throughput.
  • Monitor and track data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Process Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Manufacturing.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, ideally as a Black Belt or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial, or assembly processes.
