About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Child Care Leadership Specialist to join our team as the Assistant Director at Bright Horizons Children's Centers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our center, providing guidance and support to teachers and staff, and fostering strong relationships with families and communities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience, as well as a passion for early childhood education and development. About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years of leadership experience in early childhood education or a related field
  • An Associate degree in early childhood education or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, families, and community partners

You will also have:

  • At least two years of professional child care teaching experience; experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center is strongly preferred
  • A deep understanding of child development principles and practices, with a commitment to providing high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners

Salary: $57,200 - $64,400 per year (based on qualifications and experience)
