Mobile Crane Technician

Position: Mechanic (Journeyman)
- Diagnose and repair various types of company equipment, including cranes, haul trucks, pickups, and support machinery.
- Independently manage all aspects of the repair process, including diagnostics, research, repair, testing, and inspection.
- Establish and maintain technical support relationships with various manufacturers as necessary.
- Identify and source parts support, and determine which parts should be outsourced through third-party vendors for cost efficiency.
- Perform repairs on parts, engage in welding, and operate necessary equipment as part of the repair process.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in crane repair and servicing is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel and heavy equipment repair is required.
- A strong team player with a collaborative spirit.
Regular activities include sitting, standing, reaching, bending, stooping, and moving throughout the shop and equipment areas. Some roles may require heavy physical effort, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to noise, heat, dust, and fumes is common in the repair facility, and extreme weather conditions may be encountered. Candidates must be able to operate a vehicle for local travel.
