Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Golf Mechanic to join our team at Arcis Golf. As a Golf Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize equipment repair and maintenance work for golf course maintenance equipment.
  • Set up and modify new equipment as needed.
  • Repair and adjust engines on various golf course maintenance equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and make repairs on golf course maintenance equipment.
  • Perform emergency repairs on golf course maintenance equipment.
  • Keep golf course maintenance equipment fueled, oiled, and inspected.
  • Prepare routine, standardized reports and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest; maintain effective guest relations.
  • Perform special projects delegated by management.
  • Stay updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years mechanic experience.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Proven experience providing golf course equipment repair and maintenance and demonstrated outstanding customer service.
  • Must possess willingness to learn and perform new golf maintenance service programs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and motivation.
  • Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
