Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Spray Products Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform timely equipment change-overs as required by production schedules
  • Assist in maintaining an established preventive maintenance schedule on assigned equipment
  • Assist in equipment rebuilding activities, including reviewing assigned equipment and performing rebuilding projects
  • Make timely repairs as directed by the engineering department
  • Assist operators in equipment set-ups to ensure proper operations
  • Requisition parts, components, supplies, and equipment for the maintenance area
  • Provide training to plant personnel on equipment and process control
  • Comply with OSHA and SDS standards
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher a plus
  • Must provide own tools required to perform job responsibilities
  • Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Able to work overtime and nights as required
  • Familiar with manufacturing chemical plant operations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Timely troubleshooting skills to limit downtime due to breakdowns
  • 2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant
  • Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work, including climbing, lifting objects up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures, indoors and out
