The Senior Quality Engineer will be working heavily on the floor working cross collaboratively with the other sectors of engineering. You will be working with QMS, GD&T, process improvement to leverage strong analytical and communication skills to lead continuous improvement initiatives and maintain the highest quality standards in precision metal manufacturing.

Description

  • Implement and maintain robust quality management systems in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Manage and mentor quality assurance personnel, fostering a skilled and motivated team.
  • Interface with suppliers and customers to address quality-related concerns and facilitate resolution.
  • Generate and present quality performance reports to senior management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.

Profile

  • Possesses a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality or Process manufacturing
  • Demonstrates expertise in implementing and managing ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Exhibits strong analytical skills, capable of identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading successful continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards, ensuring compliance.
  • Experience in conducting internal and external quality audits, ensuring rigorous quality control.
  • Ability to generate and present insightful quality performance reports to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making
