Job Description

Franklin Precision Industry Inc is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and assurance, with a focus on process improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • Investigate and analyze quality problems, and develop effective countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Champion supplier and internal quality improvement activities to reduce nonconformance and costs.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely containment and corrective actions are in place for quality problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality problem investigation and analysis
  • Countermeasure development and implementation
  • Supplier and internal quality improvement
  • Customer and supplier relationship development
  • Quality problem containment and corrective action

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a closely related field
  • 2 years of experience in quality control or assurance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and quality tools

Work Environment:

  • Typical office environment
  • Various factory environments
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
