Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the individual will oversee customer service functions, including patient registration, appointment coordination, and insurance verification.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage multi-line incoming calls from patients, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
2. Facilitate online registration processes for both new and returning patients, adhering to established protocols and standards.
3. Schedule appointments while confirming that all necessary authorizations and referrals are in place.
4. Conduct patient interviews via telephone to gather essential demographic and financial information for account setup.
5. Verify insurance eligibility for outpatient services across various third-party payers using automated systems.
6. Utilize the EPIC system for data entry and information retrieval, effectively communicating medical messages to patients and clinic staff.
7. Inform patients about clinic deposit requirements in accordance with financial policies.
8. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in a call center or front desk environment.
- Familiarity with third-party payers, including federal, state, and private health plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills with the capacity to multitask across various systems during calls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor, credibility, and a commitment to high standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience with EPIC & Cadence or similar systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Ability to prioritize and manage therapy referrals based on medical information.

Special Conditions:
- Flexibility to work various hours and locations as needed.
- Employment is contingent upon a criminal background check and a pre-employment physical examination.

Compensation:
The annual full pay range for this position is $68,883, with an hourly equivalent of $32.99. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
