Position Overview:
Pipeline and Pump Station Operations Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and client leadership for hydraulic structures and pipelines related to water, wastewater, and stormwater.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on conveyance design initiatives.
  • Plan, direct, and oversee the technical aspects of pump station and pipeline design projects.
  • Manage client relationships, particularly showcasing HDR's expertise in pump station and pipeline initiatives.
  • Spearhead the development of innovative technological solutions to enhance market growth and client value.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist in strategic pursuits within the region.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Promote knowledge management to encourage innovation and best practices.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols and provide necessary training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in designing pumping stations and pipelines for water, wastewater, and stormwater.
  • Professional registration and technical expertise in team leadership.
  • Proven commitment to quality and alignment with HDR values.

Compensation: The salary range for this position varies based on skills, experience, education, and location:

  • California: $143,000 - $242,190 annually
  • Colorado: $143,000 - $204,930 annually
  • Hawaii: $136,000 - $195,615 annually
  • New York: $163,000 - $232,875 annually
  • Washington: $130,000 - $214,245 annually
