Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team at Holiday Station Stores - Workday in Minneapolis, MN. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the fueling area and surrounding areas.
  • Perform multi-function duties as needed, including cleaning, stocking, and maintaining store equipment.
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries.
  • Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses.
  • Assist new applicants with the application process.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Working Conditions
  • Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, but will be required to work outside to clean parking lots, gas pumps, take-out garbage, etc.
  • Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
  • Exposure to occasional noise.
Physical Functions
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour of workday.
  • Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands up to all day.
