Position Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN), adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will deliver care in a manner that respects each individual's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
The Staff RN is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of Trinity Health.
Key Duties:
Evaluate and assess patient care for a designated group of patients, employing evidence-based practices; Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments; Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a provider, including preparation for procedures.
Assist in emergency situations under the guidance of the provider.
Thoroughly educate and explain procedures to patients and their families (including diagnosis and disease processes).
Accurately document relevant assessments, interventions, and outcomes for patients in compliance with documentation standards, policies, procedures, and/or guidelines.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation and supervision of other team members.
Basic computer skills are required; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation is preferred.
