Job Opportunity: Energy Efficiency Inspector

About the Role:

As an Energy Efficiency Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting energy testing on new homes, including blower door tests, duct leakage tests, and other diagnostic tests to measure energy efficiency and identify areas for improvement. You will also perform site inspections to ensure that construction meets building codes and energy efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct energy testing on new homes to measure energy efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure that construction meets building codes and energy efficiency standards.
  • Work closely with builders, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate findings and provide recommendations for improving energy efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing and inspection activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must be able to prove proof of previous employment past 7 years through background check.
  • Construction and relatable experience a plus.
