Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at World Class Construction and Management Consultancy Firm. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex construction projects in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Represent the owner's interests, establish project objectives and strategy, manage communications, and commercially manage and control the project program and owner's requirements.
  • Cost Management: Implement cost management doctrines, facilitate funding requirements, and expedite schedule and project delivery.
  • Quality Management: Promote and establish responsibility for construction quality, qualify and select appropriate design consultants, general contractor/CM company, and other consultants.
  • Risk Management: Constantly manage project risks and minimize owner's exposure.
  • Communication: Daily personal interactions with owner team, designers, stakeholders, contractors, inspectors, and authorities having jurisdiction on the project.
  • Program Management: Oversight and management of all program functions, facilitating the resolution of all project issues, and overseeing program to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate interdepartmental functions in order to minimize delays.
  • Progress Review: Meets with program team members on a regular basis to review progress and costs.
  • Cost Variance Reporting: Manage cost variance reporting.
  • Safety Management: Manage safety requirements.
  • Annualized Budgeting: Managing multi-year projects to annualized budgets.
Requirements:
  • Education: BA/BS in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience: Six (6) – Ten (10) years experience in energy/pipeline/construction, highly preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and thoroughly understands and utilizes Information Technology in the performance of their work including PeopleSoft, Oracle, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.
  • Authorization: Candidates must have current US work authorization to work for any US employer without needed sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
