As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving donations at our donation trailer, organizing and placing donations in the appropriate areas, and providing excellent customer service to donors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive donations at the donation trailer with a positive and enthusiastic presence.
  • Organize and place all donations in the appropriate gaylords and areas of the trailer while preserving the integrity and quality of the donation.
  • Provide encouraging and welcoming conversation to donors while receiving their donations and explaining our Corners of Your Field program and KARM donations.
  • Effectively communicate the KARM Stores and KARM story, as well as our mission and values, to donors.
  • Issue receipts for donations in a timely manner.
  • Utilize an iPad for taking in and keeping up with donations.
  • Lead and equip team members by living out our Mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide, as well as carrying out our Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.

Requirements

  1. Ability to write in legible, clear handwriting.
  2. Commitment to KARM Stores' mission and mission statement.
  3. Computer skills, including general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.
  4. Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral form.
  5. Ability to stand for up to 100% of a standard work day.
  6. Lifting and bending for up to 75% of a standard work day.
  7. Heavy physical activity, including frequent strenuous activity, with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds essential for job performance.

Compensation

Entry-level pay starts at $15 per year.
