About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transformational Data Engineer to join our team at Thyme Care. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in cancer care by leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable data analytics solutions using Looker.
  • Model complex healthcare data sets, create intuitive dashboards, and deliver actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge base to ensure effective communication and onboarding of new team members.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior BI engineer with deep expertise in Looker development, data modeling, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations data, claims, prior auth, EHR, scheduling, etc.
  • Familiarity with dbt and ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, ambiguity, and scaling organizations.
