We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at PAM Health Pittsburgh LTACH. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, including administering medications, charting vital signs, and updating care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor patients for changes in medical condition and notify the RN and physician as necessary.
- Perform various clinical tasks, such as inserting and caring for nasogastric tubes, urinary catheters, and tracheostomy/ventilator care.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
