Position Overview:
The Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) is seeking a qualified educator in the field of clinical pathology to engage in the instruction of medical students, physician assistant students, and individuals enrolled in related biomedical programs.

Key Responsibilities:
As a faculty member, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering integrated, organ-systems-based curricula with a strong clinical focus.
  • Mentoring students and providing academic support in pathology education.
  • Contributing to the teaching of general histology and cell biology, if applicable.
  • Participating in clinical service and/or research activities, as opportunities arise.
  • Engaging in scholarly activities related to medical education, basic science, or clinical research.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A MD or PhD degree, or equivalent qualifications in clinical pathology.
  • Board eligibility and prior teaching experience in a medical or biomedical pathology program.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to educational excellence.

Preferred Attributes:
While our preference is to appoint at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, we welcome applications from all qualified candidates. Faculty members with active research programs are encouraged to apply, although current funding is not a prerequisite.
