Clinical Operations Manager

The Clinical Operations Manager - Oncology at Minnesota Oncology is responsible for overseeing the clinical support operations and ensuring effective staffing coverage within budget. This role requires a strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills in a team-based environment, while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee clinical support operations for nursing activities
• Maintain effective staffing coverage within budgetary constraints
• Assist with determining staffing requirements between locations
• Participate in screening, interviewing, and recruiting of clinical personnel
• Assist with reviews and revision of clinical policies and procedures
• Verify documentation to ensure proper charges
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for clinical staff
• Ensure nurses maintain required competencies on an annual basis
• Verify licensing and national certification criteria
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Current MN licensure and registration
• Current or pending OCN certification preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred

Working Conditions
This role requires working in a traditional office environment with occasional exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to an oncology clinic environment. You will require full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for extensive periods of time are also required.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, 401k plan with profit sharing, wellness program, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, and discount program to favorite retailers.
