Position Overview:

Ingram Content Group is seeking a Global Sales Consultant to support our International Wholesale Sales Team.

In this capacity, you will assist in managing designated International accounts and provide essential support to our sales initiatives.

Your role will involve collaborating with both existing clients and potential leads to effectively represent Ingram Book Company (IBC) and Ingram UK Wholesale. You will be instrumental in promoting, coordinating, and engaging in the sales of our International Wholesale programs, products, and services.

The Global Sales Consultant will work closely with the Sales Manager to oversee the daily management of Amazon International accounts, ensuring efficient ordering processes through Ingram Wholesale and utilizing tools such as Amazon Vendor Central.

You will engage with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and participate in relevant industry organizations.

Additionally, you will communicate the company's policies, terms, and procedures while integrating customers into Ingram US Wholesale and UK Wholesale under direct supervision.

Ingram Content Group connects individuals with content across various formats, providing comprehensive services for publishers, retailers, libraries, and educators. Our innovative approach leverages technology to make these services accessible and seamless.

With a vast global network, Ingram offers services that include digital and physical book distribution, print-on-demand, and digital learning solutions.


Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or the book industry
- At least 2 years' experience in customer service
- 1 year of Intermediate Excel experience, including data manipulation/design, charts, and formulas

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup
- Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Amazon Seller Central
- Experience with formal Reporting Tools/Platforms (e.g., PowerBI/Qlik)
- Background in retail or wholesale

Key Responsibilities:


- Develop a strong understanding of IBC's offerings to effectively promote sales and service to a diverse range of international customers within a specified geographical area, including all International Wholesale services.


- Monitor and assist in managing Amazon International accounts using Vendor Central and internal tools to ensure compliance with customer metrics and service level agreements.

Assist with Amazon Vendor Central case submissions to resolve issues promptly.


- Collaborate with International Sales Managers in a project management capacity to initiate, monitor, and oversee various projects related to Amazon International and Ingram US Wholesale / UK Wholesale.

Work alongside other Ingram departments and business units across different time zones to effectively manage and support assigned accounts.


- Ensure high levels of post-sales satisfaction by partnering with the sales team to foster positive, long-term relationships with customers, enhancing the potential for repeat business.
