Occupational Therapist for Schools

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Washington, DC area. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and diagnosing occupational therapy needs, creating customized treatment plans, and providing education and training to families and caregivers.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and diagnose occupational therapy needs for students in a school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
- Supervise and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants as needed.
- Minimum 1+ years of occupational therapy experience required.
- Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting is preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting as an OT is preferred.
- Must have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Full accreditation (OTR) is preferred.
- Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
